Minutes: The April 2008 Commissioners Meeting minutes were approved.
Financial Report: The April financial report was reviewed.
New Employees: Welcome to new Brookeville Academy Manager, Andrea Scanlon; Welcome to new Town Clerk, Cate McDonald, who will submit a set office schedule to the Commissioners.
Geothermal Status: Reviewed status of bids and CELP application from State. Andrea Scanlon will contact contractors about test boring to help determine cost of project
Citizen Energy Committee: Formally authorized by Commissioners vote; will review Mission Statement of new committee before the town meeting May 21
Town Budget: reviewed FY 2008-2009; will present at May 21 town meeting
Comprehensive Plan: submitted to Planning Commission for review
Town Election: The Town Election will by May 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Town Directory: Andrea Scanlon presented draft of Town Directory. Will have draft copy available for residents to review at Academy after they vote.
Market Street Repairs: The Commissioners asked the Clerk to contact Montgomery County to receive the rate charged to the county for road repairs.
August 24 Committee: Formally authorized by Commissoner vote; buildup to 200th anniversary War of 1812
Heritage Grant: report due sometime in June; Clerk McDonald will start working on the report.
Greenskeepers: need to contact about trail maintenance; with recent rain, may need to have trails serviced 3 times this year vs. 2 times.
