Election of Commissioners
On the 2nd Tuesday of every May in every even-numbered year, the designated voters of the Town shall elect 1 (one) Commissioner to serve for a 2-year term.
On the 2nd Tuesday of every May in the odd-numbered year, the designated voters of the Town shall elect 2 (two) Commissioners to serve for 2-year terms.
Registration
If you are currently registered to vote in Montgomery County, you are eligible to vote in the Town of Brookeville. If not, you may register with the Election Supervisor prior to the Election, in accordance to the Town Charter.
How can I vote Absentee?
You must request an Absentee Application at least 15 days prior to an Election.
An informal written request for an absentee ballot may be submitted to the Supervisor of Elections, but it must contain the following information:
- Voter’s name
- Residence address
- Address to which the ballot is to be mailed, if different from the residence address
- Voter’s Signature
